Veteran actor Johnny Delgado succumbed to lymphoma or cancer of the lymph nodes on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 1:20 p.m. He was 61.

Stand-up comedian Chokoleit, Jonathan Tabanag in real life, was vacationing in Boracay when he received the news that his mother Erlinda Aguilar, 67, was killed in the fire that hit their house in Coca Cola Village, Matina, Davao City on Holy Thursday.

Mommy Erlinda was reportedly trapped inside their burning house and family members failed to rescue Chokoleit’s mother because her room was allegedly locked when fire broke out.      (more…)
