John Lloyd Cruz will be flying to New Yor soon for the shooting of the movie, topbilled by Vilma Santos, where he will play a gay role and lover of Luiz Manzano.

“It’s not that easy portraying a role na magre-require ng kissing scene with another guy. Pero gagawin na lang namin ‘yon ni Luis kung paano ibi-visualize ng director. It’s a journey sa bawat character na ginagampanan ko at excited akong malaman ang mundo ng mga bakla,” said John Lloyd.

John Lloyd revealed he spent time watching “Brokeback Mountain” and admitted he cried while watching the gay movie, but expressed confidence that his scene with Luis will not be as much as what the characters in Brokeback were doing.

“Kailangan alagaan ko si Luis dahil baka pagsamantalahan niya ako,” John Lloyd laughs.

He will take care of Luis just like how he took good care of Sarah Geronimo during the shooting of “You Changed My Life”.

Papi Willie will not be seen in Wowowee this week because he has to deal with his health and needs to undergo the long delayed executive check-up that was set last year pa.

The past days, Willie got easily tired because of his minor heart problem and the doctor has been advising him to undergo an executive check-up. He also needs to pay close attention to his intestinal problems.

Willie has lost his appetite and oftentimes vomits the food he takes. It’s because of his out of schedule eating habits. He was scheduled to be confined last December but he had to postpone it because of his busy schedule.

“This month, I don’t have any more reasons why I should not undergo the executive check-up,” says Willie. “I need to be confined because I easily get tired the past days.”

The Court of Appeals (CA) has upheld the ruling of a Makati court that voided the marriage of actress Kristine Hermosa and actor Diether Ocampo.

It was Kristine who initiated the annulment. Diether, on the other hand, refused to file any responsive pleadings to Kristine’s petition for annulment of marriage.

In a decision penned by Associate Justice Sesinando Villalon, the Second Division of the CA ruled, “We find the evidence on records sufficient to prove petitioner’s allegation that the marriage ceremony as stated in the Certificate of Marriage between her and respondent which was supposed to have been celebrated on September 21, 2004 at Jaen, Nueva Ecija did not actually take place.”

Being both talents of TV network ABS-CBN, Kristine and Diether fell in love as they worked together on movie projects. They decided to get married on July 14, 2004.

However, while there were pictures to show that Diether and Kristine were wed by Jaen Mayor Antonio Esquivel on July 14, 2004 and witnessed by Col. Eduardo Divina and his wife, Susan, Kristine and Diether did not have a marriage license and were not required to sign a marriage contract.

Instead, documents sent to the young couple later indicated that their marriage license was issued on September 10, 2004. The date and time of the marriage was left blank and it was only later that the date September 21, 2004 was inserted as the alleged date of marriage.
